My Team Magic is a weekly program that meets for 35 minutes each session. In Week A, students are introduced to new concepts, academic vocabulary, and strategies. Week B focuses on practical application, with students participating in role-playing activities and sharing their experiences implementing the new skills. To reinforce learning, students receive incentives or rewards for their participation.
My Team Magic is currently in its first year of implementation. While the initial curriculum is designed for one year, there is an option to extend the program to two years. This allows for a more comprehensive and in-depth learning experience.
My Team Magic is typically facilitated by a school staff member who is enthusiastic and approachable. This staff member follows the provided Teacher Guide and has access to recorded Zoom training and phone support from Mrs. Miller, the founder and creator of the program.
